This is a superb large bronze medal by Eugene-Baptists Doumenc .
The obverse depicts a naked woman kneeling on a plinth facing left with a rearing goat kid in front of her with the word "Artemis" on the left rim of the medal above the goat. Signed "E Doumenc"
The reverse is blank and the rim is stamped "Bronze" and with the cornucopia mark of the Monnaie de Paris.
